SIX men are to face trial accused of conspiracy to steal.
The case is expected to last up to five weeks and will involve evidence from surveillence cameras and mobile telephone records, Chelmsford Crown Court was told.
All six denied the charge when they appeared at the court.
They are accused of conspiring to steal between June 1 and October 1 last year.
Judge David Turner QC was told the trial has been listed to start on March 17 next year at Chelmsford.
A hearing to check on the progress of the case will take place in midJanuary next year, the court was told.
The six men – Richard Chapman, 37, of Copper Beech Road, South Ockendon, Tommy Clampin, 38, of Dock Road, Grays, Steven Cochrane, 40, of Carlisle Way, Pitsea, Grant Leeks, 40, of Sudbury Road, Downham, Dean Leeks, 36, of Cavendish Gardens, Aveley, and Dave Steingold, 39, of East Street, South Stifford – were all granted bail.
