Victim coshed over the head with spanner by robbers
ROBBERS hit a man over the back of the head with a spanner during a terrifying robbery.
The 33-year-old man was walking along Winter Gardens Path, Canvey when he was approached by the two thugs.
They hit him over the head before stealing his bag, mobile and sunglasses.
Witnesses to the attack, which happened at 5.40am on Tuesday August 6, can contact detectives at Southend on 101.
