AN optician has been banned from the roads for two years after she was found at the wheel three times over the legal drink-drive limit.
Priyal Dhinsa, 32, was stopped by police officers on the Feenan Highway, Tilbury, after they spotted her driving her Renault Megane erratically and drifting into the wrong lane.
Dhinsa was breathalised at the scene and found to have 105 microgrammes of alcohol for every 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Basildon Magistrates’ Court heard Dhinsa, of Shaw Crescent, Tilbury, had been out foracolleague’s birthday and drunk three glass of wine on the night of Tuesday, July 23.
She pleaded guilty to driving while over the alcohol limit.
Dhinsa was disqualified from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay £1,031 including a fine, victim surcharge and costs
