SINGER Leanne Jarvis has landed a management deal with a former hip-hop star.
Leanne, from Leigh, who featured in the BBC 1 hit show the Voice, has signed up with So Solid Crew founder Dwayne “Megaman” Vincent.
She has certainly not rested on her laurels after being knocked out in the quarterfinals of the second series of the hit show, which ended in June.
Leanne, 25, said: “There was a 45-day period where you are not allowed to sign a management deal, but once that was up I started ringing around.
“There were some good offers and some not so good. It was a case of working out what was the best next step in my career.”
Westcliff-based fashion designer Joey Bevan has been lined-up to style Leanne.
Leanne is performing at Rendezvous Casino on Friday, August 23 from 9pm to 9.30pm and will be available afterwards for a meet and greet.
