Woman attacks man in his forties with a baseball bat
A MAN was attacked with a baseball bat in Southend by a woman.
Police were called just before 8.40pm on Tuesday after a man was assaulted at Temple Court in Pantile Avenue.
The man, who is in his forties and from Southend, suffered head injuries and was taken to Southend Hospital.
The woman also received facial injuries from the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Both of them were later discharged.
Detectives have appealed for witnesses to the assault to come forward.
