BLUES man Ben Smith first caught the eye of the Crawdaddy Club when he reached the semi-final heat of a battle of the blues competition held there in January.
It was another highlight of his career so far, which has also has seen him supporting Robert Cray, Joan Armatrading and Matt Schofield.
Tomorrow night he will be appearing with his group – the Ben Smith Blues Band – who will be making their debut at the club in Brentwood.
Ben’s style is influenced by the greats of blues, funk, and folk. Support on the night is from resident band the Heaters.
The New Crawdaddy Blues Club is at the Half Way House, on the A127 at, Brentwood.
Doors open at 8pm.
Admission is £8.
