A MAN was fighting for his life today after a car and motorbike crashed on Southend seafront.
The man, who is in his mid-twenties and believed to be the motorcyclist, was airlifted to hospital in dramatic scenes on Esplanade Court at 5pm on Sunday.
He was taken to the major trauma centre at Royal London Hospital with what an ambulance spokesman described as 'major blood loss and leg injuries.'
