Prolific pickpocket is jailed
A PROLIFIC pickpocket, who stole a purse from a Billericay commuter, has been jailed.
The 51-year-old woman was on a busy underground train at Oxford Circus on Saturday, April 27, when 41-year-old Luis Cueva-Mostacero stood directly behind her.
He reached into her bag and removed her purse, containing £120 cash, her driving licence and bank cards, before fleeing the train.
Cueva-Mostacero, of no fixed abode, admitted theft at Westminster Magistrates’ Court and was jailed for six months.
