HISTORY fans in Castle Point will be able to go on the trail of the hidden heritage of Hadleigh Country Park.
Visitors will be taken on a guided tour of the park, off Chapel Lane, with rangers giving a talk about how trees and the shape of the ground can reveal the history of the area.
The guided walk will invite residents to find signs of the Second World War, tracks and old boundaries.
All the while, visitors will be able to take in views of the landscape, shaped by their ancestors over hundreds of years.
The event will take place from 2pm on Sunday, October 6, with tickets costing £4 for adults and £2 for children.
