A DEFENCE firm based in Basildon has signed a deal with a major Russian company.

Selex ES’s surveillance products will be promoted in Russia after it made the agreement with NIIDAR.

Selex, based just off the A127 in Christopher Martin Road, specialises in electronic technology for defence systems, aerospace, data, infrastructures and land security.

In exchange for Selex’s endorsement in Russian, it will promote NIIDAR’s products in the UK.

They want to work together to make a maritime surveillance system.
