A VIOLENT sex offender wanted by police has been found.
Shane Barnbrook, 28, was released from prison in Suffolk on Friday.
However he breached the terms of his prison licence by failing to comply with a condition that he must live at a hostel in Ipswich.
Barnbrook had not been seen since and police believed he was in the Basildon or Grays areas.
He was arrested in Westcliff on Sunday afternoon.
Barnbrook was jailed in April this year for breaching a suspended sentence order which he was given by the courts for theft and burglary offences.
He was also put on the Sex Offender Register for a period of ten years after his conviction in 2010 for a sex offence the previous year.
