Eighty drivers have been summoned to a special court hearing for speeding offences connected to illegal street racing in Thurrock.
80 boyracers are being hauled before the court for alleged incidents of anti-social driving in an unprecedented move by police.
Basildon Magistrates' Court has set aside an entire court for a whole day to deal with the cruisers.
The prosecutions are the result of Essex Police's crackdown on cruisers - codenamed Operation Wagtail - targeting reckless boyracers in South Essex.
The 80 will appear in court at the end of this month.
