Man faces sex charge
A MAN has appeared in court accused of a sex assault on a nine-year-old girl.
Vincent Webb, 50, is said to have carried out the alleged offence in Basildon on August 3.
Webb, of Bradwell House, Wickford, faced a charge of intentionally sexually touching a girl under the age of 13 Basildon Magistrates’ Court heard.
He did not enter a plea, was released on conditional bail and will next appear at Basildon Crown Court.
