HEARTBROKEN workers have renewed their plea for thieves to return their star guinea pig.

Sunbeam, was taken from her enclosure at Hadleigh Rare Breeds Farm in Castle Lane almost two weeks ago.

Centre staff noticed her disappearance as they were counting the animals.

They conducted a search of her cage, but could not find her and now believe she was taken by a member of the public.

Sunbeam had just given birth to a daughter called Samphire.

Emma Sayer, manager of the farm, said: “We’re all very worried about Sunbeam.

“Being taken away from her daughter and home will be extremely distressing and upsetting.
