FIREFIGHTERS rescued a baby trapped in a car.
Officers were called to Redgrave Road, Basildon, after a frantic mum called to say her baby had become locked in her car.
Firefighters prised down the car window, before creating a makeshift hook out of a chimney rod. They hooked the keys off the backseat and unlocked the car.
A spokesman for Basildon fire station said: “It was just a piece of luck we managed to get the keys out really.”
The rescue took place on Friday at 3pm.
