A WOMAN has been charged with six counts of fraud by false representation after claiming to be suffering from terminal cancer.
Danielle Watson, 23, had been fundraising to pay for treatment, but police arrested her last year on suspicion of fraud.
Today Essex Police confirmed she had been charged under the Fraud Act for intending to make a gain for herself or to cause loss to another.
Watson, from Rowhedge, Colchester, used to live in Billericay and was living there at the time of her arrest in July 2012.
She has been bailed to appear at Basildon Magistrate's Court on October 14.
