Man released after 73-year-old was mugged
A MAN arrested in connection with a mugging of a 73-year-old woman for her handbag, which was recovered by a have-a-go hero, has been released without charge.
A 37-year-old man, from Southend, was arrested in connection with an attack on a woman, in Lonsdale Road, Southend, in August.
He was released on bail, but police have confirmed no further action will be taken.
