A GANG of four men mugged two teenagers at Southend Central station.
Two 16-year-olds from Canvey were mugged at about 6.20pm on Saturday.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
Det Con David Bishop, investigating officer, said: “The victims, both 16 and from Canvey, were approached by a group of four men who demanded them to hand over their belongings.
“Fearing for their safety, the two victims handed over a phone,awatch and a baseball cap to the group of suspects, who were described as two black men, one white man and one mixed race man all aged between 18 to 20.”
Officers are carrying out a number of inquiries in order to establish the identity of the men responsible.
Mr Bishop added: “If you have any information about the incident, if you were at the station at the time or if you know someone who you may think may be involved, please come forward and speak to us.”
