MY wife and I have been married for just over a year and while everything was fine at first, over the past few months we seem to have been drifting apart.
I love her so much and have bought flowers, presents and everything I can think of to heal this rift but all I get is the silent treatment.
I just don’t know what to do to make things better between us. I even thought about committing suicide yesterday and nearly walked under a bus.

FIONA SAYS: YOU MUST TALK TO YOUR WIFE Your e-mail gives me no clues about what can have gone wrong so early in your marriage, but clearly something has affected your wife very deeply.
You say she is giving you the silent treatment but have you actually asked her what is wrong? Gifts are all very well, but what she may need is someone to talk to.
As for your suicidal thoughts, call the Samaritans on 08457 90 90 90.
