ON September 8, 1972, a record to inspire future generations was released by the one of the most flamboyant and charismatic bands of the original glam rock era.
Marc Bolan and T.Rex stormed the charts with one of their most memorable and distinctive songs of that decade – Children of the Revolution.
More than 40 years later, the song has become iconic, along with Bolan’s other best-selling anthems from the same year, including Metal Guru and Telegram Sam.
T.Rextasy, the world’s only official tribute to Marc Bolan and T.Rex and the only band to have been authorised and endorsed by the management of Marc Bolan’s catalogue, is officially recognised as the world’s foremost group dedicated to the greatest glam rockers of them all, Marc Bolan of T.Rex.
T.Rextasy has also released several albums covering the original songs.
With their singer and lead guitarist, Danielz, T.Rextasy give fans an authentic representation of the band’s anthems, both musically and visually, in full T.Rex regalia.
T.Rextasy have been performing around the world for more than 20 years – a career that ironically outlives Marc’s very own T.Rex.
Marc Bolan and T.Rex fans will be able to catch them on Friday, April 25, at the Palace Theatre in Westcliff.
The show starts at 8pm with ticket prices from £15.
