It is round two of three in the battle of the Essex potters this weekend when Basildon's Stuart Bingham takes on Tiptree's Ali Carter in an opening round match in the Saga Masters at Wembley.
The two did battle in the Maplin UK Championship late in 2006 with Bingham edging home 9-8 in a match which saw Carter docked a frame for failing to be back in the arena in time after a mid-session break.
Bingham will attempt to "get Carter" for a second time when their Masters encounter is played on Sunday night at a new Wembley venue.
In past years it has gone ahead at the Conference Centre, but now that venue has been flattened it has moved to the Arena.
Bingham qualified to join the game's elite top 16 at the Masters by winning the qualifying competition for a history-making second year running.
Last time he triumphed over six times world champion Steve Davis in the main event before losing out to Peter Ebdon, but is modest about his historic feat.
"To be fair many people who win the Masters qualifier are in the top 16 by the time it comes round again so they don't get a chance to do what I did as they automatically make the main event," he said.
"But I'm still proud of my two in a row record. I can't wait for this week to go and Sunday to come.
"I'll have backing of 70 or more family and friends at the venue and, if I can get through, I'll be up against Ronnie O'Sullivan on Tuesday afternoon."
