X Factor's Lauren preparing for Fright night special
X Factor's Lauren Platt retained her place as one of the show's favourites after wowing the audience with Let it Go from the film Frozen.
The 17-year-old of Billericay performed the Demi Lovato song after being shown speaking to the pop star earlier in the week.
She told judges that she wanted to show that she could sing straight covers without always having to mix it up for her own style.
Mel B said she wanted the teen to have taken more risks at the beginning of the song but Simon Cowell predicted the song would top the iTunes chart by the end of the weekend.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini backed her prodigy, describing it as the stand out performance of the weekend.
