THE trial of a Hockley man charged with manslaughter is due to start next Monday, November 3 at Basildon Crown Court.
Warehouseman Glen Cooper, 37, of Broad Walk, Hockley, is on bail until he appears in court charged with the manslaughter or Peter Wilmot.
Peter Wilmot was found unconscious by a member of the public in the Broad Walk area of Hockley shortly before 7am on Saturday, February 1, this year.
The 41-year-old was taken to Southend University Hospital by paramedics and was later transferred to Romford’s Queens Hospital. He died in hospital on Monday, February 3.
The trial is due to last one week.
