There was little welcome in the hillside when Southend Swifts ladies visited Wales for two senior National League South Division matches.
After losing 110-58 to unbeaten University of Wales in Cardiff Stealers, they lost 69-57 to Cardiff Celts.
Fran Johnson, 18 points, and 15-year-old Hannah Culkwick, with eight, led the Swifts' scorers in the first match.
And, in the second, Abi Dempsey and Rachel Armstrong, with 14 points apiece, and Emma Hart, 12 points, were top sharpshooters.
