CASTLE Point's parliamentary candidates will be quizzed by residents tonight at an Echo-organised hustings event.
Rebecca Harris, who is standing for the Conservative's, Labour candidate Joe Cooke, Jamie Huntman, who is standing for Ukip, and Green Party parliamentary candidate Dominic Ellis will all take their seats in front of a packed audience at Hadleigh Old Fire Station, on London Road.
The four, who are all vying to become MP for the borough, will be given the chance to introduce themselves before being put through their paces.
They will be asked a series of questions by members of the crowd as they aim to convince voters to chose them when they visit the polling stations on Thursday, May 7.
Emma Thomas, Echo web editor and news editor of our Castle Point edition, will be chairing the meeting.
She said: "We have had a really positive response to our hustings, with residents in Castle Point jumping at the chance to grill the candidates on the local issues which really matter in the area.
"It looks set to be a lively hustings event, so I urge you all to log on to our website to keep up to date with all the action on our live blog."
The hustings event will start at 7.30pm.
