ENTER Shikari have been blowing crowds away across the globe with their sets which mix metal, dubstep and drum ‘n’ bass.

The four-piece band from St Albans – who released their fourth album, the Mindsweep, earlier this year – also play hugely popular DJ sets and will be doing so in Southend on Friday.

They’ll be joining the resident DJs Ian Punter, Andy, DJ Anarchy, Howard Bradley, Bethley-Scott and Ricky Button, who play at Panic, a weekly alternative night held at Chameleon nightclub.

Upstairs at the club, Twist gives you “ the best of all things dance, house and RnB” with DJs Courtney Mac and Joel Grice.

Ian Punter, who runs the night, said: “This is by for our biggest ever booking. It is going to go wild.

“This is one night not to be missed.”

Entry is £2 before 10.30pm and £5 after with a special deal on drinks.

Doors are 10pm until 4am.
