POLICE investigating after thieves stole an elderly man's bank card have released an efit of a man they would like to identify.
Two men approached an 84-year-old man who was using a cash machine at Barclays bank in High Street, Basildon The men distracted him, stole his bank card and passed it to a third suspect.
A three figure sum of money was later stolen from the man's bank account.
Police say the first two suspects are described as being in their late thirties and around 5ft 8 tall. They both had a medium build and dark brown hair.
One was wearing a cream leather jacket and the other a red and blue checked shirt.
The third suspect is shown in the efit. The marks on his face are believed to be scars that are dark blue or black in colour.
The theft took place at around 1.10pm on Friday September 4.
