A PRIMARY school ditched pens for the day and used over items and objects to promote learning.
North Crescent Primary School, Wickford, held learning-based activities and games instead of a usual school day of lessons.
No pens were allowed to be used when learning about subjects throughout the day.
The children used upturned cups on tables to learn about times tables.
Cockers were used in the playground outside to learn about maths.
The children also enjoyed making dough models and the pupils made pictures out of fallen autumnal leaves.
