X FACTOR star Che Chesterman has made a visit back to where it all started, as he prepares for the show's final on Saturday.
The singer has arrived in Basildon as part of a bus tour to drum up some home support.
Che's impressive semi final performance had Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez Versini in tears after his performance of Amy Winehouse's Love Is A Losing Game.
The former Girls Aloud star said it "really struck a chord" with her, adding: "Amy would have loved that rendition."
Former South Essex College student Che, 19, from Langdon Hills, will be visiting St Martin's Square at 2.30pm.
The visit to the town will be filmed as part of the homecoming sequence, which will be screened during Saturday's final on ITV.
He is also due to meet pupils at Woodlands School as part of a day of events in his hometown.
