A STUNNING Essex venue plus a wealth of fantastic craftwork is promised for the Essex Craft and Design Show coming up over the whole of the bank holiday weekend.
Led by photographer David Shields and jeweller Jan Simon from Leigh, (who are both in this year's Leigh Art Trail), the show takes place at the RHS Garden Hyde Hall from Friday April 29 until Monday May 2.
It comes as part of Essex County Council’s Essex Summer of Art initiative.
David said: "There will be over 50 craftsmen, artists and designer makers with work including jewellery, fine art, photography, ceramics, textiles, glass and many other contemporary crafts.
"The event aims to provide a showcase for both established artists and designer makers and new emerging talent.
"For the public it is the ideal opportunity to buy a piece of original art or craft, watch artist demonstrations and meet the individuals who have created the work."
For the younger members of your family there are also children’s trails to guide you through the garden and the Higgledy Hyde - a fantastic play tower designed by outdoor adventure specialists BeWILDerwood.
