A car catching fire forced two lanes on the M25 to close this morning.
The two inside lanes on the M25 anti-clockwise between junction 15 and junction 14 were closed at around 6.35 this morning after a car caught fire.
Traffic was stopped completely while the fire service tackled the blaze on the carriageway.
At 7.05am, firefighters had extinguished the fire and waited for a recovery vehicle on the hard shoulder.
All lanes have now been reopened on the motorway and traffic is returning to flowing normally.
No injuries were reported following the incident.
