AVID photographers across South Essex have had their cameras at the ready to capture picturesque snaps of the rapidly changing seasons.

The Echo’s camera club has proved hugely popular with amateur photographers and seasoned professionals alike as we look to showcase the impressive work of our readers, as well as providing a fresh platform to get people’s work published.

With Autumn well and truly in full swing, with dark nights and brisk mornings, the latest batch of photos have seen our readers capture the closing rays of summer sunshine, as well as the flutter of falling leaves.

From sun-glistened piers to rare birds and adorable squirrels, our South Essex snappers have taken to the camera club like fish to water, with hundreds of posts every week, and a bolstering group of photographers which now sees 165 members posted to the group.

The Echo’s digital and social editor, Scott Hornsby said: “We have had such a positive reaction to the camera club, it is fantastic.

“The standard of photographs has been really pleasing to see, and we are more than happy to add this platform to any photographer in the area.

“From young, budding photographers, to those with a little more expertise, we have seen some really exceptional photography, and we hope that can continue as the club grows.” Join Echo Camera Club South Essex on Facebook.
