PROUD father and devoted husband Glenn Tamplin has announced the births of his twins as his wife recovers from a difficult labour.

The Billericay Town Football Club owner and wife Bliss welcomed twin boys and girls named Lake Gene and Alba Bliss.

Wife Bliss is still being treated in hospital for high blood pressure.

The multi millionaire announced the news via Twitter.

His followers and fans were told she had to stay in hospital and has since been transferred to another unit.

Mr Tamplin initially tweeted: “So so so so proud of my amazing wife - she has minutes to deliver and had her stomach ripped apart with lightning spread and gave birth to these beautiful twins.

“She has to stay in hospital for 4 days, blood pressure 180 and all she worries about is babies. My bliss, alba and lake.”

The following day Glenn tweeted again to inform those of Bliss’ continued blood pressure struggles.

He typed: “My beautiful wife struggling with blood pressure and got a team around her being rushed to another hospital - please say prayers for her. She’s my rock in best place with amazing nurses and doctors.”

It has been reported that Glenn has remained at the hospital around the clock since the arrival of Alba and Lake, with Billericay Town FC not having heard any news from Glenn or been unable to get hold of him.

Bliss miscarried twins last year at ten weeks, so the couple were over the moon upon discovering she had become pregnant with twins once more.

Glenn announced the news on Twitter in May 2018.

He is now hoping to be able to return home with his family in the near future.
