The show will recreate what mental strength it took behind the scenes for Ant to complete his recent SAS series and his huge Everest challenge.

3 Alfred Russell Wallace lecture, Thurrock Thameside Nature Park in Stanford-le-Hope, Saturday, March 9.
Alfred Russell Wallace helped create the theory of natural selection alongside Charles Darwin, and he lived in Thurrock while completing some of his most important work!
The Friends of Wallace At The Dell will give a talk at the nature park about this extremely important scientist and adventurer, his life in Thurrock, and the amazing adventures that led to his discoveries. Suitable for anyone who loves science, adventure, and local history. Entry is free.

The footballing legend will be in Essex to deliver an amusing chat about his illustrious West Ham and England career with his great friend and agent Terry Baker.

5 Essex History Group lecture - The Jamestown Brides - The untold story of England’s maids for Virginia, Essex Records Office in Chelmsford, Tuesday, April 2, and Tuesday, April 9, 10.30am.
Jennifer Potter will tell the extraordinary story of the British women who in 1621 made the perilous journey to Jamestown, Virginia, to become wives for tobacco planters in the New Colony.
