Lanes closed as crews battle lorry fire on M25
Two lanes are closed and traffic is beginning to back up as firefighters are on the scene of a lorry fire on the M25.
The incident is ongoing on the clockwise carriageway at J29 of the A127 to J30 with the A13.
Two crews from Basildon, one from Brentwood and one from Grays responded at about 2.30pm and remain on scene.
Lanes one and two remain closed for safety reasons but the fire has been extinguished and moved to the hardshoulder.
Traffic is still heavy in the area and motorists are advised to allow extra time to travel.
