GET set for some more vintage voom in Southend as classic cars grace the seafront tomorrow (Sunday).

The event, organised by the South Eastern Vintage and Classic Vehicle Club, is in its 26th year and features participants who are encouraged to dress in period costumes.

Up to 100 cars follow a route from the East End of London to Southend seafront City Beach area. DJ and master of ceremonies, Peter May from Flippin Mental, will be providing the entertainment.

Members of the public will be able to join in with the day’s events, have a wander around the free classic vehicle display and chat with the owners.

The event takes place from 10am to 5pm.
