AN AIR ambulance has been called to an incident on a beach in Westcliff.
The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance was spotted landing on the sand at Chalkwell beach sometime around 12pm today (Saturday, April 18).
A photo from the scene shows a small number of people gathered around.
An eyewitness says the air ambulance was only on the ground for around five minutes before it left the scene.
The nature of the incident is not yet known.
East England Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
