CUSTOMERS have praised a new queueing system at McDonald's... despite it meaning they were left waiting for food for 50 minutes.
Drive-thrus across the country have re-opened over the last few days but today outlets in Eastern Avenue and the Airport Retail Park opened their doors for the first time in more than two months.

Pictures and video from airport outlet show cars queueing around the retail park in a bid to keep traffic off Rochford Road, Eastwoodbury Crescent and Manners Way.
Customer Derek Manson said: “I think the queuing system is sensible and we did come here expecting a wait.

“We get a McDonald’s every Friday usually as a treat for the kids so we have definitely missed it and we’re ready to brave the queues."
The 42-year-old added: “Props to the staff as we were really pleased with the service. “You can see they have been working their socks off.”
