A POLICE dog sniffed out to men with drugs who were hiding in bushes.

Police Dog Diesel assisted officers in Leigh on Sunday afternoon when they were alerted to a suspicious vehicle.

A member of the public reported the vehicle and when police approached, two men ran from the scene through gardens.

PD Diesel chased the suspects through the gardens and managed to locate them hiding in some bushes nearby.

The suspects were wearing balaclavas and had drugs in their possession.

The vehicle turned out to be stolen.

The suspects remain in custody.
