A man was stabbed in the leg during an evening attack in a street.
Police and paramedics rushed to the incident in Adelaide Road in Tilbury on Wednesday night at about 9.30pm.
Officers say the victim was rushed to hospital for treatment for his injuries and they are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: “We are investigating after a man was found with a stab wound to his leg in Tilbury.
“We received a call at around 930pm on Wednesday 24 June from the ambulance service stating a man in his 30s had been found injured in Adelaide Road.
“His injury is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances around the incident.
