Officers need your help to track down the owner of this precious pooch, who was found running along the A127 this morning.
At around 7.20am today (July 20) police were called by a number of concerned passersby who had seen the dog out on it's adventures, running down the A127 near the Fairglen Interchange, Rayleigh.
Crew members from the Rayleigh Local Policing Team rushed to the scene, where they thankfully were able to find the little one and bring it to safety.

Police are now trying to track down the owner of the dog to reunite it with its owner.
A spokesperson from Essex Police, said: "If you know the owner or have information so the owner and dog can be reunited please contact 101 and give incident number 170 of July 20."
