OFFICERS have launched an appeal for witnesses following a burglary where Iranian gold coins and jewellery were stolen.
Essex Police are investigating a burglary which took place in Bredley Way, Aveley, sometime between 6am and 5.20pm on Thursday, July 16.
Thieves stole items including Iranian gold coins, a gold chain and bracelet, and a Rado watch.
An Essex Police spokesman said they have carried out their enquiries including forensic examinations and spoke to neighbours to see if they saw anything or have CCTV.
She added: “We would like to speak to anyone else who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious.
“We are also keen to speak to anyone who has been offered items for sale similar to those stolen.
