A man has died after a serious incident on the M25 Dartford Crossing.
Kent Police were called to the crossing at 6.03am this morning after concerns were raised for a person's welfare.
Officers have now sadly confirmed that a man in his twenties, who is from Essex, has been pronounced dead.
Investigation work began earlier this morning, with two lanes being closed and traffic tailing back for miles along the A13 and into Lakeisde.
The road was completely blocked on the A282 clockwise for the QE2 bridge while emergency services, which also included the South East Coast Ambulance Service, attended the incident- the road has now been re-opened.
Police have confirmed that the man's death is not being treated as suspicious and that his next of kin have been informed.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called at 6.03am on Saturday, August 15, 2020 regarding concerns for the welfare of a person on the M25 near Dartford.
"Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man in his 20s from Essex was pronounced deceased. His next of kin have been informed.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
