THE coronavirus pandemic has forced schools to make numerous adjustments to their usual ways of teaching our children.
A Year Eight pupil at Gable Hall School, in Corringham, tested positive for the virus earlier this week.
This led to school leaders taking the decision to send all students in the year group home.
Youngsters returned to school last week and, as these snaps from the Echo archive show, they would normally have been looking forward to working in groups on tasks and Christmas plays among other things.

However, the outbreak of Covid-19 mean a lot of these activities will not be possible in the near future.
