THE coronavirus pandemic has forced schools to make numerous adjustments to their usual ways of teaching our children.

This led to school leaders taking the decision to send all students in the year group home.

Youngsters returned to school last week and, as these snaps from the Echo archive show, they would normally have been looking forward to working in groups on tasks and Christmas plays among other things.
