I AM bemused by the latest plans, strategies and visions set by Southend Council for the pier.
I would dearly love something at the end of the pier that keeps me down there like a restaurant or viewing station serving nice drinks.
I agree that a warship or submarine would be a great attraction.
But when will this happen? There has been too much talk over the years. Come on, Southend Council. Do something positive.
