BREAKFAST in bed, seafront views and a restaurant in your basement are just a few of the perks you could enjoy at a new £25million development on Southend’s seafront.
Echo readers have been given a sneak peak into the Clifftown Shore project, which is set to boast 51 apartments and penthouses. on Western Esplanade.
The luxury homes have been built on the former site of the old Esplanade pub.
Just a few stand out features include a ground floor restaurant and decadent cocktail bar, a gym, terraces, a green living roof - all boosted by outstanding views of the Thames Estuary.
For the laziest among us, a morning concierge will even be on hand to help make life that much easier – from grabbing Amazon deliveries to bringing up room service from the restaurant.
And with new images revealing the first glimpses of how the inside of the homes will look, bosses are expecting the homes to fly off the market.
James Struth, managing director at Clifftown Shore, said: “What’s so unique about this is the site is actually nestled within Clifftown Gardens, which is a protected parkland, and the sea views are incredible.
“You get the best of both worlds where it’s about a ten minute walk from Southend Central rail station, so if you work in London you can be at your desk in the city within an hour. It’s also right by the town.
“There’s some enormous terraces, some even bigger than the apartments! And the concierge in the morning can even help out with things like Amazon deliveries. Say you fancy breakfast in bed on a chilled Sunday... you can get room service from our restaurant too.
“We can’t find anything like it in Southend, or anywhere in the UK for that matter.”
The development, masterminded by Beyond the Box, and it’s anticipated buyers will be able to move into their new home by the end of 2021.
Mr Struth continued: “We’ve been working on this for as long as I can remember, I think around three years, and I’m very passionate about this. It’s going to be stunning.”
Help to Buy launched at Clifftown Shore this month and is available on 23 apartments, including five with sea views.
