Business leaders are working on an online directory which will help promote pubs and restaurants reopening after lockdown.
Southend BID is urging all businesses in the hospitality industry to sign up to the initiative and list when they plan to reopen.
Pubs and restaurants will be allowed to serve food and drink outdoors from April 12, under the Government's current plan for easing lockdown restrictions.
They will then be able to serve customers indoors from May 17.

With many pubs and restaurants in Southend yet to confirm when they will reopen, the Business Improvement District group is creating a directory to help promote venues.
When completed, the list will be shared among residents and visitors to Southend to urge them to visit the town's pubs and restaurants.
