A woman was pushed to the ground and has money taken in a robbery in a park.
The victim – aged in her 20s – was walking through Northlands Park, Pitsea at around 1:30pm on Saturday, 13 March when she was approached from behind and pushed to the ground.
A man then reached into her bag and took the loose money from within it.
The woman did not sustain any injuries.
The suspect is described as a white male, 6ft tall and aged around 28-years-old. He is described as having piercing green eyes and having green buzz-cut hair and wearing a navy-blue hoody and ripped black trousers.
Police are appealing to anyone in the area who may have seen the incident, or who help us identify the man, to contact us on 101 quoting crime reference 42/44248/21.
