A 16-year-old boy has been summonsed to court for alleged weapons and drugs offences.
The teenager, who is from Westcliff, was arrested by officers on patrol in Leigh on May 4 last year.
The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, is set to face charges of possession with intent to supply heroin, possession of cannabis, being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine, and possession of a knife or sharp pointed article in a public place.
He is due to appear at Southend Youth Court on April 6.
