A passenger was targeted in a train robbery by thugs who claimed to have a knife.
The British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Southend East train station just after 5pm yesterday (March 31), after being made aware of a robbery on-board a c2c train.
Thugs threatened that they had a knife during the ambush, which saw a passenger robbed of their belongings.
The BTP have however confirmed no knife was seen or found by the team, and that two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

A spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called to Southend East railway station at 5.09pm yesterday (March 31) following reports of a robbery on-board a service.
"Officers attended, and two people - an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy - were subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
A spokesperson from the c2c, said: "We are giving the police full support with their investigation, and will supply CCTV footage and any other assistance that is requested."
